Mt Fujiyama was formed in Japan due to a Convergent Boundary. The eruption that formed Mt. Fujiyama is part of a Philippine plate and The Eurasian Plate which had a collision. This forced magma to surface creating Mt. Fuji. However Mt. Fuji has had many transformations over the years. This shaped the land and also swallowed all overgrown over other mountains.
